I offer this service at a flat rate of $250 for manuscripts of up to 60,000 words. Manuscripts exceeding 60,000 words will incur an additional fee of $5 per 1,000 words (or portion thereof) beyond the 60,000-word limit.

This is a thorough edit that eliminates errors, tightens clarity, and ensures your writing is accurate and consistent. This is where most grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors will be caught and I will perform fact-checking as necessary or requested.

  • Consistency in spelling, capitalization, numbers, and terminology

In addition to checking for missed technical errors, proofreading can also include checking the correctness of the page numbers, index, text alignment, and paragraphing.
